En écoutant "Chimères", on peut imaginer avec une clarté presque palpable l'amour féroce et la douleur d'une mère qui doit parfois laisser son enfant affronter ses peurs seul pour qu'il ou elle apprenne à voler de ses propres ailes. Accompagnée de sa guitare, Pénélope imite le rythme régulier des vagues et les notes langoureuses du violon accentuent la nostalgie de ces instants puissants qui brisent le cœur d'une maman.

Listening to "Chimères", one can imagine with almost palpable clarity the fierce love and pain of a mother who must sometimes leave her child to face his or her fears alone so that he or she can learn to fly on his or her own. Accompanied by her guitar, Penelope imitates the steady rhythm of the waves and the languid notes of Tim S. Savard’s violin accentuate the nostalgia of those powerful moments that break a mother's heart.
